Mechanical Engineer required with sound mechanical skills and experience including, if possible, knowledge of PLC's and associated electronics. Vast experience as a Service Technician is not essential and this role may suit someone looking to move into such a role.
The role is home based with travel around the UK (and some areas of Europe) so you must be prepared for short overnight stays as the need arises. The nature of the role working on client premises may also require some anti-social hours of work.
The role involves installation and commisssioning of new equipment, general servicing and breakdowns. Good problem solving skills essential. Experience of working in a food environment will be advantageous but not essential.
