We require a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join existing dynamic design team. This role is challenging and mainly office based although some travel to client meetings and client jobs may be required from time to time. Hours of work are 8.30 - 5pm Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for the design of parts and complete assembles using Inventor 2011.
You should have some knowledge of simple circuitry and hydraulics, material strengths and manufacturing capabilities, capacities and limitations preferably with some understanding of sheet metal, welding techniques and drivfe mechanisms.
You wil be creating manufacturing drawings in 3rd angle projection and therefore you will need a sound knowledge of drawing in 3D, proferably using Autodesk Inventor. Some project management skills will also be an advantage.
Good communication, both internally and externally, must come as standard.
